when you were not with me
i couldn’t make it through
so accustomed to crying
i was nothing without you.
but those cloudy days have cleared
so much for so long
we now both realize
that the choice you made was wrong.
don’t regret, it’s all forgiven
we’ve concurred all we fear.
i’ve dreamt about this moment
and now you’re finally here.
the fire’s once again aglow
now that we’re back together
a light so safe and warm
let’s keep it this way forever
