Ghost in the Clouds

January 26, 2010
By Anonymous

In the clouds I see her
Cold eyes
Their beautiful and somber,
The color of the sky

Electric is her stare
Icy is her glare
Where she is from I do not ask
Where she goes, is her own task

All I know is when the stars are bright
Or when lightning strikes I see her there
I see her stare

Ready, willing but asking me my certainty
If I'm ready for Eternity

I laugh and say no one is and
She asks how I was risen
From her soul and dreams

But before she took me I saw her schemes

Deadly as Belladonna
Deceitful as the Others
Yet still I wonder

Without her there, without her stare
Would I still be saved
Or would it have been to late
To rave, to sob, to scream
Trapped with Immortality
