Amazing Grace
There once was a man who loved his kid
She was his pride and joy and was all he did
She followed him around with love in her eyes
She thought he couldn’t hurt her
That he was a total winner
Little did she know that he was a fraud in disguise

They went to a place to lay down the dead
She felt the tears fall out of her head
She looked around to see he was gone
She started to go into a total panic
The complete opposite of being a manic
She didn’t know that it was a complete con

She felt her heart break with hate and despair
She wanted to scream and pull out her hair
She walked around in a state of mope
 Nothing could touch her
 Nothing could hurt her
She had no other chance of hope

Then she met her life saver, her pride and joy
Her best friend forever, who was shy and coy
She helped heal her heart, her broken heart
With the love only a sister can give
The compassion only a sister can give
Both knowing that they never can part

She gave her the time and made her feel good
The kind of feeling that she thought would
She felt no longer like rain
She felt she could scream with love
And fly away just like a dove
She knew now he could never hurt her again
