It started off perfect, us talking at the start.
I knew from the moment I saw you that you'd have my heart.
But one night alone with you in the dark, weak and submissive I let you make your mark.
The chain made it official from then I was your girl belonging to only you, no one else in this world.
It was cool you know cause with you I could grow.
And now It's still true but I feel I must tell you...
your chain is getting tight and cutting off my breath taking me slowly until there's nothing left, leaving me no soul because of your control.
I understand your love but with it must come trust.
My freedom's a high price so babe take my advice if you let me be free then I can garentee I'll give you all of me.

I like this poem because its so simple, and speaker knows exactly what she needs. I love it! The one thing I don't get is if the speaker wants to stay with the person or not.
