Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.

In our school, where futures should glow bright, A story unfolds, away from the light. There's this boy, his skin night's own shade, Who smiles, though inside, his light fades.

Started as jokes, friends poking fun, But the laughter grew sharp, harm was done. In the crowded halls, his tears fell like rain, A silent plea for help, masked by pain.

Each day, worse than the last, he faced alone, His laughter and dreams turned to stone. In front of everyone, he couldn’t hide his cry, But we all just watched, as he withered, oh why?

I saw it all, but my voice stayed quiet, Frozen by fear, a silent riot. Now, his seat's empty, a shadow remains, A lesson in grief, in invisible chains.

We're almost grown, about to step out, Yet we failed to speak, silenced by doubt. Let's learn from this, let kindness lead, See those tears, meet their need.
