#1 (8) Bright pink petals flutter and fall
#2 (6) In the vibrant blue skies
#3 (8) And suddenly I get a call
#4 (6) I look in my friends eyes
#5 (8) With a excited expression
#6 (6) I tell all my friends there
#7 (8) I can stay out till eleven
#8 (6) Cuz for me it was rare
#9 (8) The day goes by really quickly
#10 (6) And eleven comes round
#11 (8) Sadly I had to leave my friends
#12 (6) I was heading homebound
#13 (8) When I arrived at my house
#14 (6) I ate some mac and cheese
#15 (8) Then I slept quiet as a mouse
#16 (6) Dreaming bout the pink trees
