“A Cycle of Forgetfulness”

Fading faces, blurred by time… Fading into the space of my vast mind.
The sweetness, your air, still on my tongue, like a drop of morning sun….
Racing, racing to preserve your memory,
Is it all no use?
Am I meant to lose you too?
I see it is too late,
You are with her, way too faraway,
Tears of loneliness roll down my face,
Sorrow of saltiness enters my mouth.
You made haste, making better friends only to forget,
The cycle never ends,
Forever fading friends,
