Perfect Day

Flowers blossom,
Color surrounds us.
They sway in the wind to
the rhythm of the soft breeze.
High up in a tree,
Baby birds play.
Waiting in their nest
for mommy to come home
with their meal.
The grass is a
glossy green.
The sun watches from high above,
warming us.
The children play;
It’s all fun and games.
I sit back and admire
how beautiful and perfect
this day is.
