When I close my eyes, I can’t even breathe
My lungs collapse and my heart starts to seethe
As my body falls numb
I call to you; you never come
My cries fall on deaf ears
And I’m jumped by all my fears
The ones of really losing you
But you had better things to do
Then to stay here with me
And you had better things to be
Then the one I wanted
You left me alone, and haunted
Taunted by your memory, by you
While everything is thrown askew
And if you ever bother coming around
Wondering why I’m laying on the ground
I’ll put on my fake smile
While you pretend to stay a while
