Our friendship should be like chains
Unbreakable undying forever
But instead im sad to admit
We are like a string
Small and weak
Breaking breaking

Only to need retied again
The string is so short now
Really we should be close
But on the contrary
We are on two different worlds

One of these days
The string will break
And it will be in a way
Too short to retie again
Crying crying

But its too late
Somehow we are kind of relieved
Its over now
With less complications
I see you every now and then
It stings a little
But the years have calmed my tears
And now I can see you and smile

I wonder how you are holding up
If when you see me you fall apart
You look fine and I hope you’re happy
With your new friends
I still can’t see
How we are not together
But still can be
HAPPY and CONTENT

Wonderful extended metaphor at the beginning. Extremely clever and inspiring!

It's pretty good! I like the meaning of it.
