Theater
My costume is a little tight
I can feel the beam of a spotlight
I can recite the entire play
Opening night is a day away
And yet it all feels right
I was up practicing all night
I’ve gotten an awful case of stage fright
Good thing this is not Broadway
And yet it all feels right
These lights are getting pretty bright
I’m filled with a sort of giddy delight
Cross my fingers that it goes okay
All I can do is hope and pray
And yet it all feels right
