Thinking of Sonnie
On a bright starry night
The water reflected the moon
The reflection was bright
With a soft song playing its tune
They sat there with their hands clasped
And a huge smile across her face unmasked
With the melody of the animals
And the lingering of the light breeze
She is beautiful
They talk with much ease
As she loves him so
He will never let her go
They laid there all night long
Up past sunrise they laid
She sung to her love, a song
These two people have it made
Above their heads, shone, the purplish orange sky
While the two lovers look deep into each other’s eyes
Then he whispers into her ear
She smiles with a magnificent smile
The songs of the birds come near
He tells her, “For her he’d walk miles!”
As the trees sway with the light breeze
Their LOVE, TRUE, and this scenery is no longer a tease
