A Day In Iraq
The beating sun awakes me
as my patoon suits up for the day
we get the orders to leave command
we walk miles in the sand
waiting
watching
all the new guys shaking in fear
Bang
Bang
Shots ring out
as we return fire we see a building
I run to the building my adreniline racing like a roller coaster
I run up the stairs and plow down the door
I fire randomley killing all the enemies
as we return to command
the new guys still shaking
as we lay down for the night i think
why
why are we hear
why do we need to do this
that is somthing we will never know
