Be Like You
How does it feel to get stepped on everyday
You help feed animals and even people too
But all anyone does, is step on you
We cut you and trim you
But we don’t ever think about how much you do
Your population is 1,020,014,400,000,000,000
Always dancing happily in the wind
Green and full of life
Why can’t we all be like you
When getting stepped on you get right back up
Even if we try to crush your hopes,
Or burn you in misery,
You just grow back
Even stronger, and greener

This piece is about grass and I think we should be as strong as something as little as grass.
