Why do we hate
I always wonder what good it does
Does it make people feel better
Or does it make them feel powerful
I’ve never understood
Do they like to feel guilty
Or do they like to feel sad
Do they like to see pain in the faces of innocent souls
Has hatred started all of the problems
The problems that cannot be hidden
The wars of families being separated,
The abuse and pain
Hatred, just a six letter word that seems so small
But stretches all around the world and
Causes the worst problems of them all
Hatred can be fixed
But only with love
