Alone, the darkness within me rises
Atop the high mountain edges
where the sun burns bright
And yet, evil still burns within me

Wind that whips through my thick hair
like a grassy field,
As I overlook the setting star
until evil creeps in
Like a black dragon.

While villainy takes over the world,
A bleak hope of light twinkles in the sky
Reminding us to never submit to despair.

Once again, light extinguishes dark,
As passion rises over the empty horizon.
A shadow,
Pure evil created by light.

Alone, the darkness within me dies
Knowing that wherever I am,
Light will always shine down upon me.
