Walls
Small walls,
The four walls that would shape you into you.
The walls that would be there for you when you laugh,
When you cry.
Empty walls,
The walls that will teach you what is it like to be completely on your own.
The walls, that will be there for you when you have lost hope,
And when you see the light again
Hospital walls,
The walls that will let you go,
They will see your last breath, as they did your first.
The walls, that will shut the door and turn the light off,
And thank you for stopping by.
