I have found many friends.
Ones that come and go,
But one friend, I’ll never let go.
She knew the feelings that I felt,
Every one of my weaknesses
And the many problems I have been dealt.
We would sometimes disagree
But not once would we set each other free.
Never would she say I was wrong,
“I promise to stay forever long.”
To share our dreams,
And know what it all means.
We would be there,
To show that we care
Through all the hard times that we’ll share.
My friend and I would listen,
Listen to what we felt about life,
About love…
And encourage ourselves we can fly away
Like a dove.
We reached out,
And soon learned how much we needed the other
To ensure that everything will get better
To be my guardian angel,
To always and forever be
