The War.

We fight for our freedom,
As we destroy that of others,
This war we are fighting,
Murders children and mothers,
This blood on your hands,
All the haze in your eyes,
How does it look,
When another one dies?
Will you be you proud of yourself?
And of what you have done?
If you get all the praise,
If this war gets won?
I believe it’s important,
To fight to keep peace,
But doing this through violence,
Will just make it decrease.
