The sun’s vibrant rays beat down on her like
a heavy hammer forcing a nail into the desired place.
Her skin is weeping for help.
So is she but for another reason.
Her latte is low,
her nails need pampering and polishing.
Soon the sun slowly shrinks in the sky and her nonstop needs are transferred to her luxury suite on the south side of the ship.
Her skin sighs of relief.
The rays are released to rest for the night.
But as light becomes dominant once more,
the cycle commences.
