The war
The night howls like a wolf on a full moon
As dark as it is I see your glistening light
As time has passed I will see you soon
Very close now I know I shall see you tonight
And as the daylight fades in
You begin to fade out
As I thought you were it
My belief runs down
I held you in my arm
But now your gone
After all the pain, blood, and harm
And just as I thought our war was won
My blood ran red
As I felt a sting
I lay there dead
Not able to feel a thing
