Rivers
Each of us has a river
Whether it runs deep in our veins
with a rapid current,
or flows freshly through rock beds
that catch our eye,
Rivers do not stop,
Rivers do not quit,
if something is placed in front,
Rivers will find their way around..
They don't move, they glide,
connecting one another
We should not stop,
we should not quit,
we should not try so hard to move,
but glide at our own pace,
and if some obstacle is place in front of us,
simply glide around it the way that you're used to
don't ever let it slow us down.
Like every River,
Keep moving and your current will reach the ocean where it belongs
With your hopes and dreams, your family and your friends
