"My old baseball glove"
I walk into my garage.
The first thing I see is my old baseball glove,
The tan color so old it is almost brown.
I try it on for old times sake.
The pocket is softer than Charmin.
I think about catches with Dad,
All the tournaments with friends,
Every inning,
Every pitch.
So many wins with that glove.
It carved my love for the game.
