dreams of war
From where I stand
We play like a band
From sounds heard
Almost like a bird
Each fallen warrior
War moves farther
We march thru stars
Making the land ours
With each soldier that stays
They fight for new days
With the smell of gunpowder
People start to rage louder
The river flows
Rage grows
Pages stained with tears
Voices like sharp spears
We lose a battle
We’re herded like cattle
Gunshots ring
Like a soft ding
For it seems
It's only a dream
