Sit on a Bench Poem
I sit there on the bench
I notice talking, running, cars driving past
It’s cold out here.
The reasons people choose to be outside in cold weather
Why?
I notice a boy with his family walking to the park
All bundled up and sweet
The kid was running towards the swings.
I wonder why he chose the swings first
Did he plan ahead? Or was it first sight? Or was it the thrill of being 12 feet in the air?
Not a lot of action
Only the kid made it interesting
