Leaves move across the gound,
Light makes a difference,
What looks like fog gently rests,
A hint of soft wind blows,
Obvious uniqueness around,
A wave of worry floats about,
Cars speed by on a nearby freeway,
The cemetary becomes more shadowed,
And the tombstones stand out even more beautifully,
Why do all the graves look untouched?
Why do all the graves look unvisited?
Why do all the graves look alone?
No sound,
No sight,
No light,
Can make this better,
What's here is not good,
What's here is not bad,
What's here is the memory of life,
What's here is the presence of death.
