Romance is sweet as it is sour, weak at the knees, strong power

Once in a lifetime experience leaving you battered and bruised

Makes opposites attract, Salt and Pepper,the jelly and peanut butter

will not always be him and her, prefer him her anyone

the heart beating, pit pit, patter the heart will let you know

love only goes, when you let it. 


The author's comments:

The same outline as the first paragraph of  Edgar Allan Poe's poem "The Raven" but a totally different subject mater as this is a small poetry piece part of a much larger one about the types of love
