The Boundless Wonder
Round eyes look up, boundless sky before him
Dimples grand, his smile, a door to Happiness Way
Wanting just a moment less of day, to look up and wonder
The stars a hypnotic scene to such young eyes
A low thunder he hears in the distance.
His heart composing a tune of enchantment
As the tide goes in and the tide goes out
His emotions, an ocean-boundless-looking up he doubts
Reality’s truth. Each star a story, a million
Light years away. A black canvas, mind
 Playing tricks, while dancing elephants
 Go about before him,
He looks up, and the door
 To Happiness Way opens
And young eyes run out to play
