Where does the music take us?
Does it take us on a journey
While our ears hear the notes?
Does our brain make a fool of our eyes
When we look at a new world
The music leads us to?
Who knows where the music take us?

Does the music take us outside
Where we’re covered with nothing
But heavy rain, seeing nothing
But our terrible past
With sad pianos and violins crying
Their hearts out?
Or does the music take us on
An unbeat town with people
That shine brighter than the sun
With smiling strings of a guitar?
Who knows where the music take us?

Does the music take us to
A war with no possible end
And missiles and gunfire shooting
And booming every time
Drums cry out for victory?
Or does music take us to
An island with a soothing sound
Of a harp massaging your soul
And make you feel as though
You’re in heaven?
Who knows where the music takes us?
Does the music take us
To a dark night
With ominous noises
Of a waterphone
Creeping down your skin
Making you shiver as though
It was reminding you your time has
Finally come?
Or does the music take us to a
Green grassfield with a bright shining star
Up in the sky,
Providing you with everything:
Flowers, trees, a slight brush of wind
And a flute slowly erasing evil from your mind
helping you seek what’s more to come?

Where does the music take us?

This poem is about wondering the things we see after hearing the music in our ears, and how are the instruments are feeling based on what we usually hear instruments being played.
