I have endured many rainstorms,
One hundred and twenty years worth.
I protect the animals below me,
And keep the water out.

I came from a large forest,
And was cut from the biggest pine tree.
I miss my old home,
But this is home now.

The weather changes each day.
The rain givs me water spots,
and the sun wears me out.
I make it through every storm.

I am strong and stable,
I will not break apart,
Unless a force acts on me.
I am strong and stable.
