Wonders of Spring
Wonders of Spring
The day finally arrives after the long hibernation of winter,
The time has come when the earth awaken after a long slumber,
Today at last the wonders of spring have come;
The grass begins to grow green,
And flowers begin to bloom
As the birds in the trees start to preen,
The smell of life is in the air,
Floating like a swan on a lake;
Yes, spring has finally come.
Next, you see the robin hunting for the worm;
And squirrels chasing one another in the forest,
The doe and her fawn are spotted in the field frolicking,
The bear lumbers out of his hibernation,
Turning to the river to find breakfast.
Finally, the earth has come alive.
