The light

Some stare into the light of god,
And yet blind they be,
A black spot in their eyes,
Forbidding them to see,

Some stare into the darkness,
Ignoring god for science,
Staring in a deep abyss,
Form a large alliance.

Fighting for ever,
The message they send,
Both telling false truths,
It will cause the end,

Men of the lord,
Men of great fame,
Look for the truth,
And they are the same,

The famed run from the light,
For it hurts their eyes,
The praised hate the darkness,
So they spread lies,

The light blinds us all,
The dark gives us fear,
good versus evil,
lasting throughout the year,

if you run from the light,
in darkness you descend,
and even if you accept it,
light blinds us all in the end.

Wow. Your poem really brings forth how people are blinded by science. It's great.:)
