The Midnight Hour
As I lie in darkness awake
I cannot help but think of my fate
I began dreaming of a dark, foggy
Place, my body begins moving groggy
I turn and look no one’s near
As I appear to be going into another gear
A trees root is pulling me away
Every time I blink memories of love ones go a stray
I get closer to the abyss
I can’t help but not to end this
I awake from the nightmare
It’s over I start a prayer and get a breath of fresh air
