Loneliness is...
Quiet, hushing silence that devours everything, dragging life to a screeching halt,
Thoughts become so loud they are piercing the brain,
Eating and eating, except everything, tastes the same,
Trying to quench the never-ending sleepiness by spending all day in bed,
The world fades into a black and white image of bleak dreariness,
While the shackles of guilt and misery hold back the attempt of optimism,
So the thoughts of past mistakes back you down into a corner and make you reassess decisions,
reassess life.

I've been feeling really sad, so I decided to spill my feelings into a poem. I did have a part about myself in this poem, but I took it out.
