If you had one more chance
To do it all over again
Would you go through the sun
Or walk straight through the rain

Would you take a deep breath
Through the ocean depths
Or wallow in the dusk
As a victim of heart theft

Is it worth the wait
Or just take what is at hand
Does the world revolve around your mind
Or can you write your fate in the sand

If you can have one more kiss
From your one true lover
Is it worth the millions lost
From those you are yet to discover

And the tears you cried
And the memories you left
Does reality have a purpose
To leave you bereft

If G-d could choose
What is right from wrong
Like in some kind of book
Or some kind of song

It would make life no mystery,
No enigma to fear
And your eyes will be left dry
Not even one tear.
