A feeling grows of hate and disgust as you enter my space, and my cheeks turn a hot red, but i make a concious effort not to let the beast burn up inside me, and I let my anger cool, when you open your mouth I listen, and I hear, then I walk away, even though the feeling is beneath my skin.

The author's comments:
I wrote this poem because I think it is important to let your feelings flow smoothly, but to do it at the right time and the right place. I hope my poem has made you think about treating someone with respect, even if they do not treat you the same, because the least you should give to someone is respect.
