From ‘Bae’ To ‘Submarining,’ The Lingo Of Online Dating
When it comes to online dating
You would think it could result in hating
When you meet your significant other
They surprisingly don’t turn out to be a bother
When your significant other calls you bae
You usually blush and then say hey
But it is used in different forms
That potentially make your heart warm
Breadcrumbing might make you think of food
But it’s actually flirting that may change your mood
You’re a fisherman throwing out your line
So you can go on a date that is divine
The next one is a bot
  People think it’s hot
But they don’t know it’s fake
But when they find out their hearts break
Catfishing is something that gets to your feelings
They take your heart I guess that’s called stealing
They text you one day and you don’t know what to say
Then they’re gone but you wanted them to stay
Cuffing season is next you want to be on your best behavior
So you can find someone in the cold to be your savior
They keep you warm while there’s a winter storm
Once you become closer a relationship starts to form
Submarining is when someone leads you on is and leaves your heart to break
They give no apology I guess the love was fake
They leave your life without a notice then want to come back
So you let them in then you backtrack
  Relationships are a struggle
  Feelings that you juggle
  Hearts being broken
The truth is about each other is always spoken
