Ode to headphones
Someone blessed me with the gift of headphones, Not knowing we would share an unbreakable bond like how teens are attached to their cell phones.
It helps me block out the world by blasting music, Like sunscreen blocks out sunburn when you use it.
Oh how I love having them all the way up, Like women are obsessed with makeup.
Oh, how I love my headphones, Oh how I love my headphones.
And when they finally break oh when they finally break, My heart will be filled with sadness and ache.
Madness will take over my body, And when I wake I would not want to talk to anybody on this terrible, no good, very bad day.
