She holds the pen
in her hand
writing everything
she feels
letting go of herself
for once
barring her soul
for all the
world to see
such simple words
heal her heart
make her forget
the pain
breathing in and out
only to find
that life is not
always easy
she takes the pen
and writes
to escape the life
she's known
and free's herself
from the lies
and lives
