Money Isn't So Funny
Are your parents trying to find a job?
Trying hard to stay above the mob?
But everywhere they turn, they’re getting robbed.

Robbed by the system and the bank
Robbed by people who give no thank
People who think they got rank

 AIG, Fanny Mae, Freddy Mac
CEO driving a gas guzzling Cadillac
We’ve given them so much money, we’ve lost track

 Nice house to no house
Living as poor as a church mouse
Yet your hopes and dreams can’t be doused

The present is bleak, the future is unclear
We hope one day there won’t be anymore economic fear
Too many people have cried, there’s no more tears
