It's dots to assign

and drill to clean

It's Audrey, Caraline,

Emily, and Ashleen

It's the end of rehearsal chant

when we've played our piece

It's Chris, Grant,

Hunter, and Elise

It's football games to enjoy

and long rides on the bus

It's Francisco, Troy,

Garrett, and the Emma's

It's Game of Cards, Fantasia,

Prometheus, and Gershwin's Rhapsody

It's Jasmine, Diana,

Cullen, and Bethany

It's the Guyer Band

where we will leave our legacy

It's Erica, Aaron,

Woody, and Lapinski

The author's comments:

I wrote this poem about the friendships that are formed through marching band. It's not just the experiences that shape the season, but the people by your side that make the season memorable. A special shoutout to the clarinet section! You guys are the best!
