Do you ever get the feeling,
that nobody cares?
Do you ever wonder what it means,
When everybody stares?
I do
Every day
And it hurts more
Than even words can say
Do you ever feel,
Like you want to leave earth?
Do you ever wonder,
If your cursed?
I do
Are you ever in your room
With nothing to do?
Just sitting by your window,
Looking at the blue?
Almost every night

The author's comments:
These poems are not all about the same thing. The reason I write them is when I am depressed. Through my life I have been abused, neglected, and criticized. I have talked to counselors and tried to distract myself from it. But one day in 2008, I found a way to let it all out without giving away my whole story. These poems are about friends I thought I had, people replacement, moving, and even when I am confused about everything. These are only six of the many poems I write. I keep a pink notebook full of all of them. I remember when my study hall teacher would send me to the office every time I brought it to class. Wow. That was lame. I just never wanted to show her what was in it because it was really personal to me. But basically what I am trying to say is that I have finally found a way to express myself.
