My Prince

I was walking down the road
when I came across this slimy toad
and I couldn't help but recall
the fairytales I read when I was small
Oh, how I've always dreamed of that handsome prince
hoping he'd come across my fence
I wish if I kissed this cold-blooded creature
I'd have the fairytales I've always pictured
but I'm not a little girl anymore
so I'm going to forget all the folklore
and wait for my prince a while more

Cute! It rhymes! :). Time is always the key factor, isn't it? I think it's kuh-yute! (and thanks for commenting on my poem way back when)

This was short but soooo sweet! I hate it when stuff like this gets swamped by the masses of other stuff. It's almost like a fairytale in itself even though it's denying the existance of fairytales, anyway. I liked it.
