Butterflies With Tattered Wings

Butterflies with tattered wings,
Broken limbs,
Shattered souls,
Living in awe,
Watching those lucky few,
Graze peacefully through an endless sky,
But I never will,
I’ll always be stuck on the ground,
Cold and hard,
Always wondering what it’s like for them,
Always wishing to know,
Always knowing I’ll never find out,
Because I’ll always be only me.
