The Christmas Spirit
We searched far and wide,
For the right Christmas pride.
For the perfect symbol,
The Christmas season we all love.
As we are walking through the store,
We find the perfect Christmas decor.
As soon as we see it we jolt.
Once we get there we holt.
We were looking around the store for a hour,
About ready to scour.
Once we find something,
We get ready to carry it out to the car.
Then on Christmas Day we all get together,
And get ready to open gifts.
This is how we get our Christmas pride.

I wrote this poem as a class assighnment. I decide to use this structure because I wanted to describe hom my family tradition went on in our family. I hope that when people read my poem they will think about all the great times and traditions that they had with their family or would like to have in the future. The idea came from a family tradition that we do every year to get prepoared for Christmas.
