A clean white page laid before me;
A pen placed in my hand.
My daily thoughts and musings,
Transported from foreign lands.

A clean white page laid before me;
A pen placed in my hand.
Words dance before my eyes
For which no picture can ever stand.

A clean white page laid before me;
A pen placed in my hand.
I think too fast than I can write;
Words smudged now abound.

On a white page dance black symbols,
Laid out for a reader to see.
A white page spoiled by pen marks;
My thoughts for eternity.

My friend Mia inspired me as she is always writing in her diary, and then I wrote this and entered it for my local drama festival's Own Verse Contest which will be judged soon! I am very nervous!!

This is certainly one of my favorites: "I will become even more undignified than this, and I will be humiliated in my own eyes." -2 Samuel 6:22

I hope you did well on the Contest... I really like this. It conveyed my feelings so well when I write. I loved it.

God bless, and good luck.
