"Wise men speak because they have something to say; Fools speak because they have to say something." - Plato

I was born everywhere and nowhere
Outside of time, outside of preconceived notions
Outside of the left wing of Methodist Hospital
At half past noon

I was born with whispers of the future
Stuck like needles in my brain
With babbles of why not sooner
And soon after why at all

I was born while I wasn’t
I was 100 years old
I was a newborn
I was there before and again

Time was a notion since birth
I couldn’t seem to grasp
I was outside of it
Aging backwards and sideways

I flirted with reality
My people of those who didn’t conceive it
But manipulated it
Reality as my plaything and me its creator

A world buzzing like bee’s
And machines then already planning
My predestined future
Of constant skepticism

I grew like a meteor in my mother’s celestial stomach
And exploding from my containments
More fiery than I came in
A loud roar of rebellion

A small gasp of air
A story rewritten
I was everywhere and nowhere
Nothing and everything

I was as is
And ever once before

This piece is very close to me because it is one of my favorites that I have written. I hope people can relate to it , but also gain a sense of awe and deeper thinking from it as well. It is abstract which I really enjoy and It is sort of an out there expression of my past.
