The Musician
The man’s fingertips have built up calluses from the years of plucking out tune after tune
One hand is wrapped around a maple mahogany guitar neck and the other grasps a pick between two fingers
The music takes me to a warm beach with deep indigo painted sky’s and golden sands
Where does your music take you? I ask in curiosity and wonder
Home, he replies. Then begins plucking out a new tune.
