"what if you vanished into thin air?"
leaving minds full, none bare.
you were lilacs blooming in a world of grey,
but now the gritty sandpaper beneath their skin that never goes away.
you cranberry tinted cheeks that brought smiles all around,
now bring salty tears to those who only frown.
you left soundlessly, with as little as a "swish"
they look up at night, in search of a wish
that you knew how many people were to care
if you vanished into thin air.
