Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Thank you very much ladies and gentlemen, but
Right now I’ve got a secret to tell
About the simple infinite complexity of pain
The feeling that sticks around, like something you can’t defeat

Right now I’ve got a secret to tell
It gnaws and burns, leaving a dullness in its place
The feeling that sticks around, like something you can’t defeat
The fire is doused but the burns last

It gnaws and burns, leaving a dullness in its place
Indrinched lost in the depths
The fire is quick, but the burns last
Can’t lie no more, can’t hide no more, I got to be true.

This work is a found lyrical poem, which has it's roots in tree songs: Do I Wana Know? - Arctic Monkeys, Too Close - Alex Clare, and Bellbottoms - John Spencer Blues Explosion.
